1. Issue
Avigilon and Pelco (Motorola group) cameras can be added to Hanwha NVRs via ONVIF and show Connected/Online. The NVR also receives events/alarms, however live video is not displayed (black screen / no image / error icon).
2. Root Cause
KHQ confirmed the issue is addressed by adding / correcting RTSP BaseUrl handling in firmware.
3. Resolution
Apply the KHQ beta firmware listed below for the relevant NVR platform. After upgrade, the ONVIF-connected Avigilon/Pelco camera stream displays correctly on the NVR live view.

- Pelco: SRXP4-5V10-EMD (FW 4.66.0.26, Smart Compression disabled)
5. Reproduction Steps
- Add an Avigilon or Pelco camera to the NVR via ONVIF (Auto Search or Manual).
- Confirm the channel status shows Connected/Online.
- Open the channel in Live view.
Result: No live image (black screen / error icon), despite ONVIF connection being established and events/alarms being received.
6. Verification
- Internal lab: Issue reproduced (stream visible in ONVIF Device Manager on PC, not displayed on NVR).
- Customer confirmation (ZD#107021): After applying
XRN-6420DB4_5.36.16_251204171236.img, issue resolved and site signed off. - Internal validation (5.34 branch): Beta
PRN-6400DB4_5.34.56_251124143958.imgconfirmed to resolve the symptom on affected 5.34 platform devices.
7. Firmware Release Plan
KHQ advised the fix is planned for inclusion in the regular release scheduled for April 2026, noting the schedule may change slightly.
