1. Issue

A bug has been identified on the XRN-3210B2 model where HTTPS access fails after configuring TLS 1.3 as the only active protocol and rebooting the unit. Additionally, HTTP remains accessible despite "HTTPS Only" being selected in the menu.

2. Root Cause

An error in the TLS 1.3 Cipher Suite handling prevents the NVR from correctly initializing the secure web interface during boot. As a result, the HTTPS listener fails, and fallback to HTTP remains unintentionally active.

3. Resolution

The bug has been addressed in beta firmware version 5.34.46_250711095604

With this version:

  • Cipher Suite list is now correctly retrieved at boot.
  • HTTPS access is restored.
  • HTTP is properly disabled when "HTTPS Only" is selected.

4. Affected Model & Firmware

Model:

  • XRN-3210B2
  • XRN-3210RB2
  • XRN-6410B2
  • XRN-6410RB2
  • Affected Firmware: 5.34.32_250526170922

5. Reproduction Steps

  1. Install a public HTTPS certificate on the NVR.

  2. Set connection mode to HTTPS Only.

  3. Select TLS 1.3 as the only protocol.

  4. Reboot the NVR.

  5. Attempt to access the NVR via HTTPS.

Result: HTTPS access fails, while HTTP remains active.

6. Verification

  • Issue confirmed and reproduced at Hanwha Vision Europe Lab.
  • Beta firmware tested and verified to resolve the issue.

7. Firmware Release Plan

This fix will be officially included in the production firmware scheduled for release in Q4 2025 / Q1 2026.
