1. Background
An issue has been identified in some Wisenet camera models due to an incorrect Date format that does not comply with RFC standards. As a result, some SMTP servers respond with an 'UNEXPECTED REPLY' error, causing the SMTP connection to fail.
2. Solution
New official firmware versions have been released for certain models to resolve the issue. However, some models are still pending a fix in upcoming firmware releases.
2.1 Current Status by Model (Updated: November 2024)
- WN7 Series: The fix is included in the latest official firmware.
- CV2 Series (P AI): The fix will be included in the next release.
- WN5 Series: The fix will be included in the next release.
- Brahma Series (Multi-sensor): The fix will be included in the next release.
- Q/A/L Series: The fix will be included in 1Q 2025.
3. Beta Firmware Availability
If beta firmware is required for specific models prior to the official release, please contact Technical Support for assistance.
